Training Events and Material
One of the core objectives of Data without Boundaries is to promote the use of integrated official statistics in Europe. The DwB project seeks to inform the research community on possibilities for application and the potential for social enquiry of official European microdata.
To this aim a series of 3-day training courses will be hosted, which will inform interested researchers on available data sources and the legal requirements of access. Additionally each training course will focus on an individual datasets such as European Union Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (SILC), European Union Labour Force Survey (LFS) or European Adult Education Survey (AES) and provide an in-depth look at the dataset with sample applications. In sum there will be six training courses which are scheduled to take place twice a year, the first of which will be hosted by GESIS in Mannheim in summer 2012.
This page will keep you posted on dates and registration procedures for all training courses within the Data without Boundaries project. Furthermore all documents and e-learning resources for training courses will be made available here.
